The Sports Hotel (Sibote Dajiudian) is a sport-themed hotel managed by the Shanghai Sports Development Co. The hotel is located in Xuhui District, one of Shanghai's busiest commercial districts. It is about 6 kilometers from the airport and 5 kilometers from the railway station.
The hotel consists of a 23 floor main building and a four-story secondary building. There are 187 guest rooms, all equipped with air conditioning systems, mini bars, international direct dial phones and colour TVs. Some of the rooms also feature dataports. The hotel has a Chinese Restaurant which seats up to 200.
The hotel's business facilities are pretty good. There are six different sizes of meeting room and a spacious multi-functional hall equipped with simultaneous interpretation for four languages, overhead projector, TV and internet broadcasting and audio visual system.
For recreation, there is a gymnasium, table tennis, basketball, tennis, indoor soccer, badminton, volleyball and swimming pool.
